What is a CSA?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between a community (that’s you) and a farmer (that’s us). The farm pledges to grow food for the community and the community pledges to support the farm. It is a direct field-to-table relationship, allowing the community to be more in touch with its food source. Members enjoy discounted pricing and first pick of the farm harvest.

How does our CSA work?

CSA members pre-order and pre-pay for the food they want throughout the farming season. Members benefit by receiving a discount on their order, and the farmer benefits by knowing how many orders of each item to raise, grow, or make in order to accurately scale production.

Is a farm CSA cost effective?

Yes! CSA members receive a 10% discount on their orders for the season.

What types of products do you offer in the CSA?

All of the products we raise and grow are available for pre-order through the CSA membership. Take a look at the CSA sign-up form by clicking on the “Become A Member” link to browse the products you may want to add to your order.

Do I pick up my CSA order or is it delivered/shipped?

CSA orders are picked up by the member here on the farm. We’re considering adding a delivery option for those members ordering a weekly total over a certain dollar amount, but the details are still being worked out. To help us determine if we should add delivery in the future, we are offering free delivery to the 3 highest CSA order totals for the 2023 season. Let us know in the comments section of the CSA sign up form if delivery is something you would be interested in the future.

How long is the CSA season?

Our CSA season is 20 weeks long, beginning in the first week of June, and ending in the middle of October. We encourage our members to order enough product during the season to last through the winter months.

Meet Your Farmers

Our journey to farming began with the pursuit of health. When we had our daughter my life was turned upside down. I was not expecting to have a child with health issues. No parent ever expects or wants that. Overtime I began to research why my little one was having so many terrible reactions to food. I Quickly learned that what I thought was healthy food, was not. Sadly what I wanted could not be found on the grocery store shelves. I wanted meat from animals that had a high quality of life, produce from dirt with a diverse micro biome, and to support a farm that was ethically raising their food. Since we could not find it, what was the next step? Be the change I wanted see.

Farming has brought so much joy to our lives. To feel the dirt with my own hands, be the one taking care of our animals, and participating in changing our food system brings me hope for the future. Every day we continue to learn and adapt. And every day we make strides towards bettering our health and the health of our customers.

Our Values

Transparency

Anyone is able to come at any time to our farm to see how their food is being raised and grown. When you buy local you have the power of information. If the old adage is true, that you are what you eat, then you better know what you’re eating!

Land Health

Our farming methods add nutrients and organic matter back into the soil. Within the realm of agricultural practices, our farm’s ultimate goal is to build healthy soil and grow grass. Every subsequent act of raising food depends on this basic and fundamental goal.

Wellness

The act of farming and the food it produces is healing to the body, mind, and spirit. Farming is our occupation, but ultimately, mankind is our business.
